I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
