Whether you’re new to betting house betting or a casino veteran, black jack is one of the simplest and most fun card games casinos have to offer. The goal in chemin de fer is to beat the dealer by getting a hand value as close to twenty one as as you can and not going over. To play chemin de fer, you need only a general comprehension of the rules and a eagerness to have fun.

So how do you reach twenty-one? In black jack, the cards have values. Numbered cards two through ten are counted at face value, while every face cards (King, Queen and Jack) are worth 10 points. The ace is a special card in black jack: you deduce whether it is worth one or eleven points. Since casino players are dealt two cards to begin, if you are dealt an ace and a 10 valued card, you’ve achieved 21-an immediate success, as long as the dealer doesn’t get 21 at the same time. This twocard winning hand is called a "black jack"; hence the name of the game!

Casino rules for chemin de fer are basically the same at all betting houses. After you are dealt your first 2 cards, your options are to take another card, hold, double your wager and take one card, split your hand into 2 hands with a second wager equal to the first, or sometimes give up.

When you participate in blackjack at a betting house, be sure to know which game table to choose. Most casinos have color coded blackjack tables corresponding with the minimum wager the table accepts, typically $3, five dollars, 25 dollars or $100. In any casino, it’s a certainty the three dollar and 5 dollar tables will be packed, but they are excellent for beginners at casino games considering that all of the cards are dealt face-up, instead of the 1up, 1down concept at higher tables. So the upcoming time-or the first instanceyou visit a betting house, make a visit the blackjack tables and target for twenty one!
